Dr. Jim Driskell is Senior Scientist at Florida Maxima Corporation with more than 35 years of experience in behavioral science research and development across academic, government, and private sectors. He is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and a Fellow of the Division of Military Psychology, and has served on the editorial boards of Human Factors, Journal of Applied Psychology, and American Psychologist.
Dr. Driskell has led numerous research projects as Principal Investigator for organizations including the U.S. Army Research Institute, Air Force Research Laboratory, National Science Foundation, National Academy of Sciences, Office of Naval Research, NASA, FAA, FBI, NIH, Department of Homeland Security, and Defense Intelligence Agency, among others.
His research focuses on group processes, team performance, team training, and human performance under stress. He has authored more than 100 articles and papers, with recent publications in leading journals such as American Psychologist, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Factors, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Military Psychology, Small Group Research, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, and Group Dynamics.
